CM Punjab removes LMC chief officer over negligence
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has removed Ali Bukhari, Chief Municipal Officer of Lahore Metropolitan Corporation, for negligence in duty.
According to details, Punjab Chief Minister has mobilized to solve the problems of Lahore city. He took immediate notice of the closure of street lights and other issues and strongly reprimanded the authorities.
Yesterday, on the order of the Chief Minister, the charge of the post was withdrawn from the MD of Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC).
Usman Buzdar took strict action against closure of the lights at some stations of the metro bus service and has also ordered the removal of two officers of the authority.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has directed the officials of Punjab Mass Transit Authority to keep the lights functional at the stations. He said that a line of action has been prepared to solve the problems of the citizens of Lahore.
Usman Bazdar has announced that he will regularly review the progress every month. Good work will be encouraged and poor performance will be questioned.
