Two killed, two injured in KDA office firing incident
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Two employees were killed and two others were seriously injured in a firing incident at the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) office. The shooting took place at the KDA office on the third floor of the Civic Center.
As soon as the incident was reported, the police rushed to the spot and started investigation, while rescue teams rushed the body of the deceased and the injured to the hospital by ambulances. later other injured succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Assistant Director Wasim Raza and Wasim Usmani were killed in the incident.
Police officials said that the shooting at the Civic Center looks like a fight between officers. A pistol used in the firing has been recovered. People present at the time of the incident were also questioned.
According to sources, the accused in the firing at the Civic Center Land Department is Assistant Director Haseeb Lambe, who entered Wasim Usmani s room and opened fire. Police have arrested the injured accused Hafeez who appears to have shot himself.
