Country's economic woe at its highest, women dignity not safe: Fazlur Rehman

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the economic woe in the country is at its highest, women s dignity is not safe and those responsible are making excuses.

According to details, Maulana Fazlur Rehman reached the residence of PML-Q Chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain in Islamabad and inquired about his well-being.

The current political situation was also discussed during the meeting between the two leaders.

Talking to media after the meeting, he said that unemployment and inflation are on the rise in the country.

The economy went below zero. As long as these selected and people s mandate robbers exist, Pakistan and its economy are not safe.

Talking about the motorway rape incident, he said that the dignity of an ordinary woman is not safe. It is a shame that even after seeing such incidents, the rulers take the name of State of Madinah. He demanded that such elements be severely punished as a warning sign.

Speaking about the All Parties Conference (APC), he said that he wanted to make it clear that concrete decisions would have to be taken in the APC. Traditional resolutions will not matter. What concrete steps will be taken, I will explain in the meeting.
