Flood in River Indus inundates several villages in Rojhan

Residents of the villages on the bank of river have started moving to safer places.

ROJHAN (Dunya News) – Flooding in River Indus near Rojhan, a tehsil in Rajanpur District in Punjab, resulted in water entering dozens of villages, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.

According to sources, standing crops on thousands of acres land and houses were destroyed as several villages were submerged under water due to flooding in River Indus.

Sources also said the residents of the villages on the bank of river have started moving to safer places as water level in River Indus is rising further.
