Youm-e-Ashura being observed to remember sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA)

The mourning processions are being taken out in all the cities and towns of the country.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Youm-e-Ashura, the tenth of Moharram, is being observed across the country today (Sunday) with due solemnity to pay homage to the supreme sacrifice rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain Razi Allah Taala Anho and his devoted companions in Karbala. Standard Operating Procedures have also been issued for the mourning processions after consultations with the religious scholars to avoid spread of Covid-19. Elaborate security arrangements have been made to avoid any untoward incident while the routes of the processions are also being monitored through aerial surveillance and control rooms. Mobile phone services have also been suspended on the routes of the processions.
Ulema and Zakireen are highlighting the bright and candid teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A.) and various aspects of Karbla tragedy.
In Lahore, central Zuljannah procession that emerged from Nisar Haveli inside Mochi Gate will culminate at Karbala Gamay Shah. On the occasion over 10,000 security personnel have been deployed for the safety of the mourners.
In Karachi, the central procession has emerged from Nishtar Park that will be concluded at Hussainian Iraninan Imambargah. 6368 officers are monitoring the procession.
Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Murad Ali and DG Rangers Sindh Major General Umar Bukhari also visited different areas and expressed satisfaction over security arrangements. In Rawalpindi, the procession has emerged from Imambargah Ashiq Hussain to culminate at Imambargah Mohalla under strict security by 2000 personnel. The Islamabad-Rawalpindi Metro Bus has also been suspended from Sadar Station to IJP Road.
In Peshawar, the first procession has been taken out from Agha Syed Ali Shah Rizvi Al Maroof Jan Imambargah.
Small and big processions are also being taken out in other cities of the country.
