NCOC members suggest phase-wise reopening of educational institutions

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A meeting of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) regarding reopening of educational institutions in the country was held on Thursday.
The participants suggested to reopen the institutions phase-wise as the meeting was briefed on national and international situation pertaining to the coronavirus pandemic.
The session deliberated on possible threats to students after reopening of educational institutions and recommended to resume university classes first followed by college and school.
Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood said implementation on standard operating procedures (SOPs) will be a challenge after reopening of the institutions. The NCOC will make its final decision on September 7.
