Father arrested on charge of selling daughters in Swabi
SWABI (Dunya News) - In Swabi, police has arrested the accused father who sold his daughters, girls were also rescued.
According to police, a father from Deh Dagai, area in Swabi sold his two daughters, 11-year-old Asma and 10-year-old Hasna, in Punjab for Rs3.5 lakh with the help of accused Mumtaz and arranged for the transfer of his innocent daughters to Punjab.
Upon receiving the information, District Police Officer (DPO) Swabi took notice and ordered the local police to immediately recover the girls and arrest the accused.
Police team led by DSP Razzar raided the house of accused Hidayatullah in Deh Dagai and recovered the two girls safely.
The accused has been arrested but police is conducting raids to nab the other accused Mumtaz.
