Kamyab Jawan Program loan limit raised to Rs25 million

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Abdul Hafeez Sheikh has said that the loan limit in the “Kamyab Jawan” program has been increased from Rs5 million to Rs 25 million.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, he said that loans are being given in the Kamyab Jawan program. Government is ensuring all possible funds for the program. The common man is at the core of the Prime Minister s policies. He said government will provide as much money as needed for the Kamyab Jawan program.

He said that so far loans of more than Rs1 billion have been disbursed to 2900 youths while approval has been given to provide loans to another 7500 youths. In this regard, the number of banks has also been increased.

Finance Adviser Abdul Hafeez Sheikh said that international organizations including Bloomberg are acknowledging the economic recovery of Pakistan while Moody s has also declared our country s economy as stable.

Talking on the occasion, Special Assistant Usman Dar said, "I thank Abdul Hafeez Sheikh. From August 13, the application will be available on the website of the Kamyab Jawan program."

Usman Dar said that the goal of Kamyab Jawan is to create jobs in Pakistan, this program will provide employment to one million youth. In the 72 years history of Pakistan, no Prime Minister or government has ever thought about the youth. He also thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for the Kamyab Jawan Program.
