CM Buzdar orders administration to remain alert in view of monsoon rains

Dewatering pumps and other necessary machinery should be fully functional: Usman Buzdar

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has ordered the administration to remain alert in view of monsoon rains and directed to monitor situation of weather continuously.

Usman Buzdar, in his statement, directed to ensure implementation of the plan formulated for drainage in cities and directed to drain rain water in Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Rawalpindi, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur Division in the shortest possible time. Dewatering pumps and other necessary machinery should be fully functional, he added.

CM Punjab also said that citizens should not face any problem during rains and special arrangements should be made to keep traffic flowing.

The chief minister, while ordering a report with complete timeline, warned that he will not tolerate any shortcomings.
