PMLN, PPP are trying to use one another: Punjab Information Minister

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan on Wednesday said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are using each other.

Talking to media persons, Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said that Chief of JUI-F Maulana Fazal-ul-Rehman arranged a meeting between Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as a broker and an agent.

The provincial minister, while criticizing opposition parties, said that opposition can never become righteous or united. He added that PPP and PML-N are not ready to trust each other and both parties are trying to use one another.

Earlier, Chairman PPP called on PML-N President in Model Town Lahore late Tuesday following a meeting with the JUI-F Chief. While talking to media after the meeting, Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that never before has the economy been in such a dire state, this government has completely failed, and its continued existence will be dangerous for the country.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the public and opposition are on the same page. After Eid-ul-Azha, meetings between leaders and the APC will bear welcome news for Pakistan, he added.

Earlier, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman who called on Bilawal Zardari said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has put the general public in difficulties, adding that the people were on the same page against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
