FBR imposes Rs 26 million tax on Mohammad Hafeez

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has imposed Rs 26 million tax on Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez, sources familiar with the matter informed Dunya News on Tuesday.
According to details, Mohammad Hafeez concealed Rs 86 million from the FBR in 2014. Tax has been imposed on the 39-year-old as he failed to give a satisfactory answer, FBR sources said.
Mohammad Hafeez, who is in England at the moment to represent Pakistan in three Twenty20 Internationals, had earlier denied any tax evasion or asset concealment saying he files his tax returns annually.
