Moonis Elahi meets Governor Punjab, agrees to further strengthen alliance
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A meeting between Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and PML-Q leader Moonis Elahi at the Governor House discussed the country’s political situation and other issues. The two also agreed to further strengthen the alliance between PTI and the PML-Q.
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar said that the opposition’s dream to divide the ruling coalition would never be realized. Moonis Elahi reiterated his party’s support to PTI and said that PML-Q wants the coalition government to solve the country’s problems in an efficient manner.
The Governor Punjab said that PTI government’s relationship with allied parties is as strong as ever and all coalition parties, including PML-Q, are fully supporting the government. He advised the opposition parties to wait till the general election of 2023 as the incumbent government is not going anywhere.
Chaudhry Moonis Elahi said that PML-Q believes in relief and service of the public and we will continue to play our role on every forum to protect the public interest.
