KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh on Monday alleged that the worst load shedding in the province, including Karachi, is taking place with the approval of the federal government.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi on Monday, he said that everything is happening with the approval of the federal government, adding that Sindh is not getting gas or electricity despite even producing it.
Sheikh said that revenge was being taken from Sindh for not voting for the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). “HESCO and SEPCO returned 300 megawatts of electricity,” he said and added electricity was not being provided to Sindh.
The provincial minister said that the federal government was blaming Sindh instead of rectifying its own situation.
