PPP protest against K-electric in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) also came on the streets of Karachi to protest against loadshedding and overbilling by K-electric.

PPP workers protested against K-electric outside the Karachi press club. Addressing the workers, PPP Sindh General Secretary Waqar Mehdi alleged that Arif Naqvi had funded the PTI in the election campaign, which is why federal government has not taken any action against K-electric.

Waqar Mehdi further said that K-electric has not yet upgraded its system while it has taken billions of rupees in this regard.

He said PPP will teach K-electric a lesson after becoming in power. PPP is about to start a movement against the incompetent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, he added.

Protesters carrying placards and banners also chanted slogans against K-Electric.
