Special meeting of NCOC to be held in Karachi today

The meetings at provincial capitals are aimed at forging national unity against coronavirus
KARACHI (Dunya News) - A special meeting of National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) is being held in Karachi on Saturday to discuss implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and management of Cattle Markets on eve of Eid-ul-Azha.
Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar and National Coordinator of NCOC Lt Gen Hamood Uz Zaman Khan will preside over the meeting. Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah will also attend the meeting while representatives of Islamabad, Azad Kashmir and other provinces will be present via video-link.
The meeting will be briefed about coronavirus hotspots, smart lockdown and contact tracing of coronavirus patients.
It would be the second meeting of NCOC outside the federal capital as first meeting was held in Lahore.
