Eid-ul-Azha: Four cattle markets to be set up in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Four cattle markets will be set up in Islamabad for Eid-ul-Azha as the interior ministry has approved the chief municipal officer’s recommendations, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
According to details, the markets will be established in Bhara Kahu, Taramri, Rawat and Tarnol. It has been decided to take effective precautionary measures in the cattle markets for citizens as well as dealers.
Furthermore, implementation over standard operating procedures (SOPs) has been made mandatory.
On the other hand, twelve cattle markets in Lahore, including Shahpur Kanjra, have become functional. Temperature of visitors is being checked on all entry and exit points. The authorities have announced to take immediate action over SOPs violation.
