ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Lieutenant General (r) Asim Saleem Bajwa on Sunday said that new optical fiber cable has been operationalized from Khunjrab to Islamabad.

In a tweet today (Sunday), he said in next phase it will be laid from Islamabad to Karachi and Islamabad to Gwadar as part of digital highway plan.

He said foundation for digital revolution-project is being processed in conjunction with China.

The project of laying optical fibre cable from China border to Gwadar is being executed under CPEC.

Bajwa said foundation for digital and Information Technology revolution-project was being processed in conjunction with China.
