Court awards back to back life sentence to Data Darbar bombing facilitator

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Court has sentenced Mohsin, a facilitator of Data Darbar bomb blast, to life imprisonment twice for possession of explosives.

According to details, anti-terrorism court judge Ijaz Buttar convicted Mohsin, the facilitator of the Data Darbar bombing, for possessing explosives.

The court has sentenced Mohsin twice to life imprisonment, once to 14 years imprisonment and confiscation of all his property.

Earlier on November 28 last year, the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court had sentenced the facilitator to death 22 times and life imprisonment in the Data Darbar blast case.

Mohsin blongs to Shabqadar area of Charsadda and had facilitated the suicide bomber.

The suicide bombers, Siddiqullah and Mohsin, entered Pakistan from Afghanistan on May 6 via Torkham and the two came to Lahore on May 8, where they took up residence in a house near the Data Darbar.

Explosives were recovered from the facilitator of the suicide bomber at the time of his arrest. The accused belonged to a banned organization.
