Must remain vigilant to tackle emerging challenges: General Qamar Javed Bajwa

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - According to ISPR, General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Corps Headquarters Karachi where he was briefed on internal security and operational matters. COAS said that we must remain vigilant to deal with emerging challenges for internal and external security.

During his visit, the Army Chief also met with officers and soldiers and expressed satisfaction over the collective efforts of law enforcement agencies to restore peace in Karachi.

The Army Chief paid tribute to the law enforcement agencies for countering the nefarious intentions of the enemy, especially their role in foiling the stock exchange terror attack. He later visited the Garrison, Health and Field Isolation Centers as well.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa appreciated the efforts of Karachi Formation against coronavirus. On arrival at Sindh Rangers headquarters, the Army Chief laid flowers at the martyrs’ memorial and recited Fateha.
