Pakistan producing PPEs according to international standard: Fawad

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has said that Pakistan is producing personal protective equipment for coronavirus disease according to the international standard.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he said adequate facilities have been provided to Faisalabad University to produce surgical and N-95 masks.

He said that National Radio Telecommunication Corporation has prepared first batch of 10 ventilators. He said the production of ventilators will be started within 60 to 90 days. He said special training group has been formed to provide training to the hospital staff for ventilator operation.

The Minister said that Pakistan is exporting COVID-19 materials worth 100 million dollars and it will be increased after production of ventilators within the country.
