Indian attempts to alter Occupied Kashmir's demographic structure illegal: PM Imran

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday reiterated that India’s attempts to alter the demographic structure of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir are illegal and in clear violation of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions.

PM Imran, while criticizing Modi-led Indian government, tweeted that issuance of domicile certificates to 25,000 Indians by authorities is violation of UNSC resolutions on the disputed territory and international law including 4th Geneva Convention.

The prime minister further said that he has approached UN Secretary General and he is also reaching out to other leaders to apprise them on the issue. He emphasized that India must be stopped from this unacceptable path that further usurps the legal and internationally guaranteed rights of the Kashmiri people.
