Challenges faced by country demand comprehensive national response: COAS

Gen Bajwa shared thoughts on security environment of the region and his vision of peace in Pakistan.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday visited National Defence University (NDU) Islamabad.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS addressed participants of the National Security & War Course.

Gen Bajwa shared his thoughts on security environment of the region and his vision of enduring peace in Pakistan.

Highlighting internal and external challenges to National Security, he said that full spectrum of these challenges demands comprehensive national response and strengthening of all state institutions.

The COAS went on to say that that Army will keep doing all that is required of us for provision of secure environment for sustained socio-economic progress.

Earlier, on arrival at NDU, COAS was received by Lieutenant General Muhammad Saeed, President NDU.
