PM Imran chairs important meeting on PIA plane crash
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Initial investigation report of PIA plane crash was presented to Prime Minister Imran Khan during the meeting.
According to details, an important meeting under the chair of PM Imran Khan reviewed latest developments in investigation of PIA plane crash.
The Prime Minister was also briefed about facilities provided to the injured and heirs of the victims.
Federal ministers and high level officials of civil aviation and Pakistan International Airlines attended the meeting.
Earlier, the French experts of Airbus company visited the incident site, where the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane crashed, on the third day and continued investigation.
The investigation team used latest technical equipments to interrogate the matter through forensic science.
Sources have revealed that the flight data recorder (FDR) will be sent to France for decoding whereas the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) could not be found after the crash.
It has been learnt that the investigation team has been assigned the task to inspect the affected building to recover the CVR and the services of PIA engineering and technical ground force and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Security and Vigilance have been acquired as well.
