Juma-tul-Wida being observed with strict implementation on SOPs

Juma-tul-Wida has special significance since it is a prelude to departure of holy month of Ramazan

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Juma-tul-Wida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramazan is being observed today with religious solemnity across the country.

The Juma gatherings were held across the country as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) agreed between the government and the religious scholars in view of the threat posed by COVID-19.

Imams and Khateebs in their sermons stressed upon Muslims to purify their souls through a greater dedication to prayer, seek forgiveness of Allah Almighty and being kind to fellow beings.

Prayers were offered for the freedom of Kashmir, Palestine, and other parts of the world where Muslims are struggling for their right to self-determination.
