Six holidays announced for Eid-ul-Fitr, notification issued

Earlier, Punjab government had decided to give seven days off for Eid
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal government has decided to announce six Eid-ul-Fitr holidays for government employees across the country.
According to details, the holidays will be from May 22 to 27 beginning from Ramadan’s last Friday till Wednesday.
The Federal Interior Ministry has issued a notification in this regard stating that government offices will remain closed for six days.
According to Federal Interior Secretary Azam Suleman, markets and shops will remain closed, while all businesses and public places will also remain closed during the holidays.
It may be recalled that earlier, Punjab government had decided to give seven days off for Eid, from May 25 to 31.
