Met Department rules out Shawwal moon sighting on May 23
(Dunya News) - The national meteorological department (Met) has forecast that there are thin chances of moon sighting for Eid-ul-Fitr on 29th Ramadan.
Predicting the new moon sighting the Met department said that moon of Shawwal 1441 AH will be born on crossing conjunction point at 22:40 Pakistan Standard Time (PST) on May 22.
In a statement the Met Department said that the Shawwal moon is most likely to be sighted on Sunday May 24 and the Eid ul Fitr will fall on Monday May 25.
