Woman in Bahawalnagar killed by unidentified attackers

BAHAWALNAGAR (Dunya News) – A woman going home with her brother on a motorcycle was killed by unidentified persons in Bahawalnagar.
According to details, the accused ambushed and opened fire on the victim near a college in a private housing society in Bahawalnagar. Rescue officials rushed the woman to the hospital in critical condition but she succumbed to her injuries shortly after.
Police have identified the victim as Sana Fatima, saying that she was going to the market on a motorbike with her brother when the assailants, who came from behind, opened fire and killed the woman while also managing to escape the scene.
SHO Saifullah Hanif further said that pickets have been set up across the city and the escaped suspects will soon be arrested.
