Special NA session underway to discuss COVID-19 response
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A special National Assembly (NA) session is underway on Monday for debate on one-point agenda, i.e. to discuss the measures taken by the federal and provincial governments to help deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri is presiding over the session in the absence of Speaker Asad Qaiser who is currently in quarantine for 14 days after he was tested positive for the virus.
Legislators from treasury and the opposition are participating in the debate on situation arising after the outbreak of coronavirus.
