PM, COAS phone NA speaker, prays for his early recovery

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Sunday telephoned National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and inquired about his health.
The prime minister telephoned the NA speaker and prayed for his early recovery from the virus.
Asad Qaiser told the PM that he is feeling better and his health is improving.
PM Imran Khan also inquired about the health of his [Asad Qaiser] children who were also tested positive of the coronavirus.
On the other hand, the COAS also telephoned Asad Qaiser and prayed for his early recovery.
Asad Qaiser thanked Army Chief for his wishes and prayers.
On April 30, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, his son and daughter had been tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The National Assembly speaker took to the twitter to make the announcement saying, “I have just been tested COVID 19 positive and I have quarantined myself in house.”
He urged the nation to take precautions and sought their prayers.

Meanhile, Meanwhile, Asad Qaiser said that he had symptoms of fever for the last two or three days but now he is feeling well.
The NA speaker went on to say that his son and daughter have also been tested positive for the virus.
On April 27, Sindh province Governor Imran Ismail had been tested positive for the deadly coronavirus. He is currently in self-isolation.
The governor said in a tweet night, “I have just been tested COVID-19 positive...I believe this is nothing against what we are prepared for. May Allah give us strength to fight this pandemic inshallah.”
Prime Minister Khan and several top leaders of his party expressed good wishes for the governor.
Ismail is the highest official to test positive so far. Earlier, Sindh minister for education, Saeed Ghani, tested positive but recovered.
So far 29,465 people have been infected with coronavirus in Pakistan. Of these, 639 died. Besides, 8,023 people have recovered.
Meanwhile,Pakistan has confirmed 21 more deaths from novel coronavirus as the nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 639 and positive cases to 29,465 on Sunday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 1,991 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours.
Pakistan has so far conducted 283,517 coronavirus tests and 13,341 during last 24 hours. Patients are under treatment at quarantine centers of 462 hospitals where 7,295 beds are available.
Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
11,093 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 10,771 in Sindh, 4,509 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,935 in Balochistan, 641 in Islamabad, 430 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 86 in Azad Kashmir.
