Kite string claims life of youth in Lahore

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A youth was killed on Sunday from a kite string in Islampura area of the city. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Lahore Rai Baber Saeed suspended SHO of Islampura Police Station after the incident.

According to details, a 18-year-old youth was rushed to hospital in critical situation but he succumbed to his wounds.

So far, police have not registered an FIR of the incident. According to police, relatives of the victim are not willing to file an application for registration of FIR. Dead body was shifted to morgue but postmortem was not completed.

Family members of the victim Muhammad Usman have approached area magistrate’s court to collect the dead body.
