Shehbaz Sharif terms reduction in POL prices insufficient

Shehbaz Sharif recommended to drop the price of petrol by Rs50 per liter.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif on Friday has termed reduction in the prices of petroleum products as inadequate. In a statement, the PML-N leader said that the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is not giving full benefit of oil situation in international market to the nation. He recommended to drop the price of petrol by Rs50 per liter. The reaction came day after government had decreased petroleum product prices for the month of May 2020. Petrol price was slashed by Rs15 per litre, whereas the price of High Speed Diesel was decreased by Rs27.15 per litre. So the new price of HSD is Rs80.10 per liter, SKO Rs47.44 per liter and LDO Rs47.51per liter. The new price of petrol is Rs81.58 per liter.
