Dr Yasmin told that Lahore is the worst-hit Punjab's city by the pandemic with 1384 cases.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid on Tuesday has told that seven laboratories of level-3 have been made functional in Punjab to conduct tests for coronavirus.
While addressing a press conference, the minister said that the proincial govenrment will be able to carry out 4,000 to 5,000 coronavirus tests on daily basis.
However, efforts are being made to further enhance the test capacity across the province, she added.
Dr Yasmin told that Lahore is the worst-hit Punjab’s city by the pandemic with 1384 cases.
It is to be mentioned here that 5,640 coronavirus cases have been reported in Punjab, 91 people have lost their lives while 1,306 have been sent back to their houses after recovering from the pandemic.
