Sindh decides to ban mass roadside Iftars amid coronavirus: sources

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh government has decided to ban iftar arrangement on roadsides and public places in a bid to control spread of deadly coronavirus in the province.

According to sources, official iftar parties will also be banned and government has urged political, social and religious organizations to not host iftar parties during holy month of Ramadan.

On the other hand, Sindh government is expected to issue orders about Taraweeh prayers today. Sources claim that authorities are considering banning Taraweeh prayers in public places and halls. Meanwhile government is also in contact with ulema to limit congregational Taraweeh in mosques.
