PM launched historic package for poor: Dr Firdous
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the ignorance of those who criticize the government unjustly can only be regretted. She added that Prime Minister Imran Khan launched biggest relief package in the country s history for the deserving people and workers.
SPAM Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan tweeted on the social networking site and said that Punjab has announced one month’s extra salary for doctors, nurses and medical staff who are on frontline against coronavirus and in case of the loss of the precious life of any government employee or doctor on duty, the Punjab government has announced martyrdom package of Rs4 million for families of employees of grade 1 to 16 and Rs 8 million for families of officers of grade 17 and above.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has provided cash support of Rs12, 000 per person to 120 million poor people and Rs144 billion is being distributed among the poor. She further said that the government has distributed over Rs49 billion in more than 4.1 million families since April 9, 2020.
She also lashed out at critics of the government and advised them to first learn facts and then speak.
She also urged everyone to support Imran Khan in his fight against coronavirus and hunger.
