Total coronavirus cases in Pakistan have soared to 5,374 with 93 deaths reported.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday rejected plea of private schools seeking suspension of notification of 20 percent reduction in fees of private schools.
Justice Aamir Farooq conducted hearing on the plea of private schools. Lawyer of private schools argued that government issued notification of fee reduction without consultation with schools.
During the hearing Justice Aamir remarked that under current circumstances private schools should have reduced their fees themselves and if this decision is reviewed then decrease in fees may go to 15 % or rise to 50%.
The IHC judge turned down the petition and sent it back to the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA).
