CM Sindh's brother-in-law, infected with coronavirus, passes away

He was diagnosed with the virus on return to Pakistan from Iraq
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah’s brother-in-law, who had contracted the coronavirus, has passed away.
According to details, 54 year old Mehdi Shah, who was serving as Managing Director Site, had contracted the deadly virus while on a trip to Syria and Iraq. He was diagnosed on return to Pakistan from Iraq.
The CM’s brother-in-law had been under treatment in Karachi’s Aga Khan Hospital for the past three weeks,he breathed his last on Thursday night.
Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has extended his condolences to the family of the departed soul and prayed to Allah to grant them strength to bear this loss.
Up till Thursday, Pakistan reported 63 deaths from the novel coronavirus while the total number of cases has surged to 4489.
According to details, 2,241 patients have tested positive for the virus in Punjab, 1128 in Sindh, 560 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 213 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 212 in Balochistan, 102 in Islamabad and 33 in Azad Kashmir.
So far, 572 patients have recovered in the country while 31 are in critical condition.
