Tweet claiming Boris Johnson's death from coronavirus is fake

LONDON (Dunya News) – A tweet by an account named “BBC Breaking News” claims that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has died of coronavirus. The claim is false.

UK PM Boris Johnson is still in intensive care as he needed oxygen after coronavirus symptoms worsened.

The tweet received more than 600 re-tweets in less than 30 minutes.

Meanwhile a local news channel quoted the fake twitter account and reported that British Prime Minister has died of coronavirus.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson tested positive for coronavirus on March 27, 2020 and self-isolated himself in Downing Street.

He was moved to intensive care Monday (April 6, 2020) when his condition worsened in a battle with the coronavirus.
