Rawalpindi administration seals areas hit by coronavirus
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The Rawalpindi administration has sealed Dhoke Kashmirian, Dhoke Paracha and Magistrate Colony after dozens of coronavirus cases were reported in the areas, Dunya News reported on Saturday.
On the other hand, screening process for the epidemic in Islamabad’s Bhara Kahu, Shahzad Town and Rimsha Colony has been completed.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr. Zafar Mirza said rooms have been allocated for coronavirus patients at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
He further told that Talash area of Lower Dir has been sealed after a suspected case of the pandemic emerged in the area.
Let it be known that the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has surged to 1407 with 490 patients in Punjab, 457 in Sindh, 180 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 131 in Balochistan.
