Coronavirus pandemic: Salman Khan asks people to not step out of houses

MUMBAI (Online): Bollywood actor Salman Khan has released a video in which he said that no one is safe from COVID-19. He asks people to take precautions. Coronavirus is spreading like anything. In India, 334 people have tested positive so far. On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed people to observe Janta Curfew. Many Bollywood people have posted videos in which they were asking people to stay safe.

Salman Khan posted, “Mera naam hai Salman Khan. Pehle to un sab ko thank you kehna chaahonga jo health mein ya police mei abhi tak kaam rahe hain (My name is Salman Khan. I would like to start by thanking all those who are still stepping out of their homes to help stem the spread of coronavirus pandemic).” He goes on to add, “Appeal ye hai ki govt aapke liye aur hum sab ke liye bol rahi hai, Isko seriously lo aur afwahein mat phailao (My appeal is that you follow what the government is saying and don’t spread rumours).”
