Pre-arrest bail can't be given if prima facie evidences exist: Supreme Court.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan, while issuing verdict regarding the interpretation of pre-arrest bail, Saturday said it cannot be given if prima facie evidences exist, Dunya News reported.

The decision was issued over the bail petition of Secretary Union Council of Jamshed Town Karachi, Ghulam Farooq Channa and the court remarked that approval of his pre-arrest bail may harm the evidences.

The apex court remarked that Ghulam Farooq Channa is accused of illegally acquiring valuable property of a woman by making a fake death certificate for her. The SC rejected Ghulam Farooq Channa’s pre-arrest bail.
