PML-N terminates defiant members' party membership

The PML-N has issued a show-cause notice to the six members who met the Chief Minister
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) has issued show cause notice to six party members who met chief minister Punjab Usman Buzdar on March 11 seeking a reply within seven days.
The PML-N has also suspended the party membership of Nishat Khan Daha, Ghiyasuddin, Ashraf Ansari, Faisal Khan Niazi, Muhammad Arshad, Azhar Abbas Chandia. Some members also made statements against the PML-N leadership after meeting with the Chief Minister.
In the show cause notice, it is stated that the members were elected on the party s electoral symbol and are bound to abide by party discipline. The members have no moral and legal justification to meet with the Prime Minister or the Chief Minister without party’s permission, the notice stated.
