Joint Secretary of Bhalwal Bar shot dead by rivals

Lawyers boycotted the courts after the incident.

BHALWAL (Dunya News) – Joint Secretary of Bhalwal Bar Association Rana Mudassir Iqbal was shot dead by his rivals on Wednesday.

According to details, newly elected Joint Secretary was sitting outside his chamber with friends when two motorcycle riding criminals opened fire at him.

Injured Rana Mudassir was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.

Lawyers boycotted the courts after incident and demanded justice for the victim.

According to sources, victim, who got married a year ago, had an old enmity with his own family members.

DSP Shakeel Khokar reached the place of incident with police personnel and started collecting evidence.
