Private housing society refuses to give land for grave of comedian Amanullah

Fayyaz ul Hasan Chohan got the grave of comedian Amanullah prepared under his supervision.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A private housing society on Friday refused to give land for the grave of veteran actor and comedian Amanullah.
After being informed, Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz ul Hasan Chohan reached the graveyard of the private housing society.
The employees of the society exchanged hot words with the provincial minister.
Later, Chohan got the grave of comedian Amanullah prepared under his supervision.
It is pertinent here to mention that comedian Amanullah Khan had passed away at the age of 70 earlier today.
According to details, the ‘king of comedy’ had been suffering from lungs, kidneys and breathing problems and had been admitted to a private hospital in critical condition.
Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and president Arif Alvi have expressed grief over the demise of the comedian and prayed for the peace of the departed soul. “Late Amanullah was a valuable assets for the stage, comedy and drama industry,” the prime minister stated.
Famous artist and Group Director Infotainment in Dunya News, Sohail Ahmad has also extended condolences to the bereaved family.
Born in 1950, Amanullah is regarded as one of the best television standup comedians. He has a world record of 860-day night theater plays and also received Pride of Performance award.
The comedian has also played the role of Chacha Bashir in Dunya News program Mazaaq Raat.
Some fellow comedians have reportedly said that Amanullah was their teacher, and they learnt comedy from him.
