Intermittent rain turns weather cold in parts of country

Heavy rainfall may generate flash flooding in some parts of the country.
LAHORE (Dunya News) –Heavy falls are expected in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region and Kashmir during Friday and Saturday.
According to Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall may generate flash flooding in Zhob, Musa Khel, Loralai, DI Khan, Bannu, Karak, Waziristan during Thursday/Friday, while in Dir, Malakand, Swat, Peshawar, Mardan, Hazara and Kashmir during Friday/Saturday.
On Friday, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and Upper Sindh. Heavy falls/hailstorms are also expected at few places in Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab and northeast Balochistan.
Torrential and continued rains may generate flash flooding in local nullahs. Dust raising winds are also expected in lower Sindh including Karachi.
