Police arrest rapist, murderer of 8-year-old Hangu girl

The DPO of Hangu said the arrested person was a cousin of the deceased girl.
HANGU (Dunya News) – Police on Wednesday arrested the rapist and murderer of an eight-year-old girl in Hangu town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to District Police Officer (DPO) of Hangu, the arrested person is a cousin of the deceased girl, and has confessed to his crime during interrogation. Police have also recovered a weapon used to kill the girl.
KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has appreciated the police for acting vigilantly, and vowed to “leave no stone unturned” for bringing the accused to justice. He also has directed to provide all sort of assistance(s) to the affected family.
