Four killed as wall of under-construction plaza collapses in Lahore

According to rescue sources, the building was being constructed without any safety measures.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least four labourers were killed and two other were wounded when wall of an under-construction plaza collapsed in Shafiqabad area of Lahore on Friday, Dunya News reported.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and retrieved the dead bodies and injured from the debris and shifted them to hospital. The deceased were identified as Khizar Hayat, Abu Huraira, Muhammad Wazir and Ali Raza.
According to rescue sources, the building was being constructed without any safety measures. Police have registered a case under Sections 337 and 322 and arrested the constructor while the owner of the plaza managed to escape from the scene.
