LAHORE (Dunya News) – A writ petition has been filed in civil court against airing the last episode of famous drama serial ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’. According to details, plaintiff Maham Jamshed has approached the civil court and stated that women are being insulted in the drama written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, therefore, its last episode should not be telecast. Civil judge Naila Ayub has summoned Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) and other parties in the case for arguments on January 24. It is to be mentioned here that the last double episode of much-hyped Pakistani drama serial ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’ will be screened in all big cinemas across the country on January 25 at 8:00pm. “The biggest drama in the history of Pakistani television is coming to its end. Watch the Last Mega Double Episode of Meray Paas Tum Ho simultaneously on ARY Digital and in Cinemas across Pakistan on Saturday, 25th Jan 2020 at 8:00 PM,” the channel announced on Facebook. The serial featuring Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan, Adnan Siddiqui and Savera Nadeem in the main roles has received unexpected response from the viewers.
