(Web Desk) – Renowned actress Mahira Khan has urged the incumbent government to come hard on heinous elemnets involved in sexual abuse against children, after a seven-year old girl was allegedly raped and murdered in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Last month, Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari on Twitter, had announced that the government is preparing a holistic policy on child abuse under the PM’s directive and within two weeks it would be ready with all stakeholders being taken on board.

And that requires society to unite and change mindsets at all levels incl recognising we have these monsters amongst us. We are now preparing a holistic policy on child abuse under PM s directive and within two weeks it should be ready with all stakeholders being taken on board.

The actress urged the policy makers to come down hard on these culprits, saying, “Please please come down hard on these monsters.”
