Fazlur Rehman to publicly address on Feb 19.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Following his dissatisfaction with the PML-N and PPP, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has announced a public meeting in Lahore on Feb 19 along with a “Chula Jalao, Hakumat Bhagao” movement against the government.

Fazlur Rehman has excluded both Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) from the initial process of consultation for carrying out another political campaign against the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the light of current political scenario, particularly after ‘dissatisfied’ role played by both parties in the Azadi March, “all parties conferences” and in the recent unanimous passing of the Pakistan Army (Amendment) Act, 2020 by the parliament.

Meanwhile, Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai said that he does not understand what has happened to Nawaz Sharif. Allama Sajid also said that they will not back down from respecting the vote if someone else from the opposition decides to do so.

The parties which are going to participate in the anti-government movement include JUI-F, PkMAP, JUI-P, Qaumi Watan Party (WQP), the National Party and central Jamiat Ahle-Hadith.
