(Web Desk) – Renowned Pakistani actress Ayesha Omar revealed that she has been subjected to a #MeToo incident as she faced harassment in her career and life.
In an interview, she expressed that it is so tough to open up about it for those who have been through it, adding that all the people regardless of their gender have faced harassment in the entertainment industry.
She praised the revolutionary #MeToo movement and termed it as a brave and crucially significant campaign as people have started to talk about their horrendous experiences.
“I have been through harassment in my career and my life. I understand how it feels,” Ayesha revealed.
She went on to say “I do not have courage to talk about it yet, maybe someday I will, but I totally relate to everybody who has been through it.” “There is no time to come out with it,” she asserted.
